We understand the importance of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and have therefore made them a critical part of our management activities.
Through our safety management system, we have implemented measures to either control or eliminate hazards.
In order to maintain a safe and healthy workplace and worksites, ZEST DCA has:
/ Developed and implemented a HS&E Management policy and procedure manual
/ Employs a health and safety representative
/ Carries out site inductions with all persons who work on its sites
/ Formulates and implements, in consultation with its subcontractors, safe work method statements and job safety analysis documents
/ Regularly reviews its HSE policies and procedures to ensure their appropriateness and effectiveness
/ Ensures that where required, tasks are implemented in accordance with the Permit to Work (PTW) i.e. excavation, hot work, concrete cutting & drilling etc. and the requirements are referenced in the relevant JSA
/ Conducts regular safety audits of its sites to ensure contractors adhere to its HSE policies and procedures
/ Ensures the reporting and investigation of injuries, incidents and near misses is conducted in a consultative manner to prevent recurrence.
